What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Yunus Emre's heart.

What did people truly want to say to the world?

I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.

With this mindset, I hope to properly express Martin Buber's heart.

1. All real living is meeting.

모든 리얼한 인생은 만남이다.

2. All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.

모든 여행에는 여행자가 알지 못하는 비밀 목적지가 있다.

3. When a man has made peace within himself, he will be able to make peace in the whole world.

사람이 자기 안에서 평화를 이루면 온 세상에서도 평화를 이룰 수 있다.

4. Everything depends on inner change; when this has taken place, then, and only then does the world change.

모든 것은 내면의 변화에 달려 있다.

내 마음이 변해야 세상이 변한다.

5. When two people relate to each other authentically and humanly, God is the electricity that surges between them.

두 사람이 진정으로 그리고 인간적으로 서로 관계를 맺을 때, 신은 그들 사이에 흐르는 전기이다.

6. To love God truly, one must first love man.

And if anyone tells you that he loves God and does not love his fellow-man, you will know that he is lying.

하나님을 진정으로 사랑하려면 먼저 사람을 사랑해야 한다.

7. The true meaning of love one’s neighbor is not that it is a command from God which we are to fulfill, but that through it and in it we meet God.

이웃 사랑의 진정한 의미는 우리가 이행해야 할 하나님의 명령이 아니라, 사랑을 통해 그리고 사랑 안에서 자기 자신이 하나님을 만나는 것이다.

8. How would man exist if God did not need him, and how would you exist?

You need God in order to be, and God needs you – for that is the meaning of your life.

하나님이 사람을 필요로 하지 않는다면, 사람이 어떻게 존재하겠는가?

우리가 어떻게 존재할 수 있겠는가?

우리는 존재하기 위해 하나님이 필요하고, 하나님은 우리를 필요로 하신다.

그것이 우리 인생의 의미이기 때문이다.

9. Human life and humanity come into being in genuine encounters.

The hope for this hour depends upon the renewal of the immediacy of dialogue among human beings.

인간의 생명과 인간성은 진정한 만남에서 생겨난다.

만남의 시간에 대한 희망은 인간들 사이의 대화의 직접성을 쇄신하는 데 달려 있다.

10. Real faith means holding ourselves open to the unconditional mystery which we encounter in every sphere of our life and which cannot be comprised in any formula.

Real faith means the ability to endure life in the face of this mystery.

진정한 믿음이란, 우리 인생의 모든 영역에서 접하는 어떤 공식으로도 구성될 수 없는 무조건적인 신비에 우리 자신을 열어두는 것을 의미한다.

진정한 믿음이란 이 신비 앞에서 인생을 견디며 살아가는 능력을 의미한다.

11. What you must do is love your neighbor as yourself.

There is no one who knows your many faults better than you!

But you love yourself notwithstanding.

And so you must love your neighbor, no matter how many faults you see in him.

우리가 해야 할 일은 우리 이웃을 내 몸과 같이 사랑하는 것이다.

자기 자신보다 자신의 결점에 대해 더 잘 아는 사람은 없다!

그러나 우리는 그럼에도 불구하고 자신을 사랑한다.

그러므로 이웃에게서 아무리 많은 결점을 보더라도 이웃을 사랑해야 한다.

12. When people come to you for help, do not turn them off with pious words, saying, ‘Have faith and take your troubles to God.’
