What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Robin Hobb's heart.
1. There is little in life so reassuring as a genuine welcome.
진심 어린 환영만큼 마음을 편안하게 해주는 것은 인생에서 드물다.
2. Stop longing. You poison today’s ease, reaching always for tomorrow.
갈망을 멈추어라. 항상 내일만 바라보다가 오늘의 편안함을 망치지 말라.
3. Silence can ask all the questions, where the tongue is prone to ask only the wrong one.
침묵은 모든 질문을 던질 수 있지만, 혀는 잘못된 질문만 던지기 쉽다.
4. Most prisons are of our own making.
A man makes his own freedom, too.
대부분의 감옥은 자기 스스로 만든 것이다.
자유 또한 자신이 스스로 만들어내는 것이다.
5. Don’t do what you can’t undo, until you’ve considered what you can’t do once you’ve done it.

6. Perhaps having the courage to find a better path is having the courage to risk making new mistakes.

Because ultimately, death is not the opposite of life, but the opposite of choice.
Death is what you get when there are no choices left to make.
죽음은 언제나 삶보다 덜 고통스럽고 더 쉽다! 이 말이 맞다.
하지만 우리는 매일 죽음을 선택하지 않는다.
왜냐하면 궁극적으로 죽음은 삶의 반대가 아니라, 선택의 반대이기 때문이다.
죽음은 더 이상 선택할 여지가 없을 때 맞이하는 것이다.
15. Love isn't just about feeling sure of the other person, knowing what he would give up for you.
It's knowing with certainty what you are willing to surrender for his sake.
Make no mistake; each partner gives up something.
Individual dreams are surrendered for a shared one.
사랑은 단순히 상대방을 확신하고, 그 사람이 나를 위해 무엇을 포기할지 아는 것만이 아니다.
사랑은 그 사람을 위해 내가 무엇을 기꺼이 포기할 수 있는지 확실히 아는 것이다.
분명히 말하지만, 두 사람 모두 무언가를 포기한다.
개인의 꿈은 공동의 꿈을 위해 포기하게 된다.
16. Stop thinking of what you intend to do.
Stop thinking of what you have just done.
Then, stop thinking that you have stopped thinking of those things.
Then you will find the Now, the time that stretches eternal, and is really the only time there is.
앞으로 하려고 하는 일에 대한 생각을 멈추어라.
방금 한 일에 대한 생각도 멈추어라.
그런 것들을 생각하는 것을 멈췄다는 생각조차 멈추어라.
그러면 영원히 펼쳐지는 시간, 진정으로 존재하는 유일한 시간인 '지금'을 발견하게 될 것이다.
