※ Milton Friedman (1912~2006, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milton_Friedman ) ; an American economist and statistician who received the 1976 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his research on consumption analysis, monetary history and theory and the complexity of stabilization policy.
With George Stigler, Friedman was among the intellectual leaders of the Chicago school of economics, a neoclassical school of economic thought associated with the faculty at the University of Chicago that rejected Keynesianism in favor of monetarism before shifting their focus to new classical macroeconomics in the mid-1970s.
His ideas concerning monetary policy, taxation, privatization, and deregulation influenced government policies, especially during the 1980s.
His monetary theory influenced the Federal Reserve's monetary policy in response to the 2008 financial crisis.
His political philosophy extolled the virtues of a free market economic system with minimal government intervention in social matters.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Milton Friedman's heart.
1. Governments never learn. Only people learn.
정부는 학습할 줄 모른다. 오직 사람만이 배운다.
2. Government should be a referee, not an active player.
정부는 공정한 심판이어야만 하며, 어느 한 쪽 편의 현역 선수로 뛰어서는 안된다.
3. Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program.
정부의 임시적 제도처럼 오래 가는 것은 세상에 없다.
4. If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.
미국 연방정부에게 사하라 사막의 관리를 맡긴다면, 5년 안에 모래 부족 현상이 일어날 것이다.
(어느 분야든지 그 분야에 전문적인 식견을 갖춘 사람이나 단체가 맡아서 관리해야 된다는 뜻)
5. One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.
정부 정책이나 프로그램을 평가함에 있어 가장 큰 오류가 있다면, 그 결과가 아니라 그 의도로 평가하는 것이다.
6. I am in favor of cutting taxes under any circumstance and for any excuse, for any reason, whenever it's possible.
어떤 상황에서든, 어떤 이유에서건, 어떤 계기로든, 언제든 가능만 하다면 세금은 줄여야 한다고 나는 생각한다.
7. The Great Depression, like most other periods of severe unemployment, was produced by government mismanagement rather than by any inherent instability of the private economy.

그리고 누구도 이를 돌보거나 개선하는데 관심을 쏟지 않음을 뜻한다.
