What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Yuri Gagarin's heart.
1. Nothing will stop us.
The road to the stars is steep and dangerous.
But we're not afraid.
그 무엇도 우리를 막을 수가 없다.
우주와 별을 향한 길은 가파르고 위험하다.
하지만 우리는 두렵지 않다.
2. Looking at the earth from afar you realize it is too small for conflict and just big enough for cooperation.
멀리서 지구를 바라보면, 충돌하기에는 너무 작고 협력하기에는 충분히 크다는 것을 깨닫게 된다.
3. Orbiting Earth in the spaceship, I saw how beautiful our planet is.
People, let us preserve and increase this beauty, not destroy it!
우주선을 타고 지구 궤도를 돌면서, 나는 우리 행성(行星) 지구가 얼마나 아름다운지 보았다.
여러분, 이 아름다움을 파괴하지 말고 보존하고 잘 발전시킵시다!

7. Spaceflights can’t be stopped.
This isn’t the work of any one man or even a group of men.
It is a historical process which mankind is carrying out in accordance with the natural laws of human development.

이것은 어느 한 사람이나 한 무리의 사람들이 한 일이 아니다.
우주 비행은 인류가 인간 발전의 자연 법칙에 따라 수행하고 있는 역사적 과정이다.
8. The view of the Earth from an altitude of 175-300 km is very sharp.
The Earth's surface looks approximately the same as seen from a high-flying jet plane.
Clearly distinctive are large mountain ranges, large rivers, large forest areas, shorelines and islands.
고도 175~300km에서 바라보는 지구의 모습은 매우 선명하다.
지구 표면은 높이 나는 제트기에서 본 것과 거의 동일하게 보인다.
큰 산맥, 큰 강, 큰 삼림 지대, 해안선 및 섬이 뚜렷이 구별된다.
9. The clouds which cover the Earth's surface are very visible, and their shadow on the Earth can be seen distinctly.
The color of the sky is completely black.
The stars on this black background seem to be somewhat brighter and clearer.

연한 파란색에서 하늘은 아름다운 짙은 파란색으로, 그 다음에는 아주 진한 파란색, 보라색, 그리고 마침내 완전한 검은색으로 혼합된다.
11. The path of a cosmonaut is not an easy, triumphant march to glory, as some people make it out to be.
You have to put in a lot of work, a lot of sweat, and have to get to know the meaning not just of joy but also of grief, before being allowed in the spacecraft cabin.
우주 비행사의 길은 일부 사람들이 말하는 것처럼 영광을 향한 쉬운 길이 아니고, 승리의 행진도 아니다.
많은 일을 해야 하고 땀을 많이 흘려야 하며, 우주선의 선실에 들어가기 전에 기쁨 뿐만 아니라 슬픔의 의미도 알아야 한다.
12. I am immensely glad that my beloved fatherland was the first in history to penetrate cosmos.
The first airplane, the first satellite, the first cosmic spaceship and the first manned flight into space, these are the stages on the great road of my fatherland toward the conquest of the mysteries of nature.
나의 사랑하는 조국이 역사상 처음으로 우주를 관통하게 되어 정말 기쁘다.
최초로 우주를 날으는 비행기, 최초의 인공위성, 최초의 우주선, 최초의 유인 우주 비행, 이러한 내용들은 자연의 신비를 정복하기 위한 나의 조국의 위대한 여정(旅程)의 시작이다.
