What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Dan Shechtman's heart.

1. I can unite the people of Israel, so I won't speak about controversial issues, which divide the people.

2. The frontiers of science, on the very small scale and very large scale, require large investments and international effort.

3. Science is the ultimate tool to reveal the laws of nature.

Let us advance science to create a better world for all.

4. In the forefront of science, there is not much difference between religion and science.

People harbor beliefs.

That's what happens when people believe something religiously.

5. I think the main lesson that I have learned is that a good scientist is a humble scientist who is open-minded to listen to other scientists when they discover something.

6. Select a subject that interests you and make an effort to become an expert in that field.

I promise you, if you make the effort, and you become an expert, you will have a wonderful career.

7. Korean students are hard working, talented, and they do what they need to do.

As far as innovation goes, I can tell you that Korean students are reluctant to step out of line.

If I ask questions, nobody raises their hands - not because they don't know the answers, but because they don't want to step out of line.

8. My childhood dream was to study mechanical engineering.

After reading 'The Mysterious Island' - which I read 25 times as a boy - I thought that was the best thing a person could do.

The engineer in the book knows mechanics and physics, and he creates a whole way of life on the island out of nothing.

I wanted to be like that.

9. Crystallographers believed in X-ray results, which are of course very accurate.

But the x-rays are limited, and electron microscopy filled the gap, and so the discovery of quasicrystals could have been discovered only by electron microscopy, and the community of crystallographers, for several years, was not willing to listen.

10. I was a subject of ridicule and lectures about the basics of crystallography.

The leader of the opposition to my findings was the two-time Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling, the idol of the American Chemical Society and one of the most famous scientists in the world.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Peter Senge's heart.

1. We need to be the authors of our own life.

2. Don't push growth; remove the factors limiting growth.

3. Over the long run, superior performance depends on superior learning.

4. The most effective people are those who can "hold" their vision while remaining committed to seeing current reality clearly.

5. The key to success isn't just thinking about what we are doing but doing something about what we are thinking.

6. Systems thinking is a discipline for seeing wholes.

It is a framework for seeing interrelationships rather than things, for seeing ‘patterns of change’ rather than static ‘snapshots.’

7. The organizations that will truly excel in the future will be the organizations that discover how to tap people's commitment and capacity to learn at all levels in an organization.

8. In great teams, conflict becomes productive.

The free flow of conflicting ideas is critical for creative thinking, for discovering new solutions no one individual would have come to on his own.

9. The gap between vision and current reality is also a source of energy.

If there were no gap, there would be no need for any action to move towards the vision.

We call this gap creative tension.

10. Leadership is about creating a domain in which human beings continually deepen their understanding of reality and become more capable of participating in the unfolding of the world.

Ultimately, leadership is about creating new realities.

11. Through learning we re-create ourselves.

Through learning we become able to do something we never were able to do.

Through learning we reperceive the world and our relationship to it.

Through learning we extend our capacity to create, to be part of the generative process of life.

12. Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something, or getting something from them.

That is only valid for information sharing.

Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop new capacities for action; it is about creating learning processes.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Dani Shapiro's heart.

1. Recognize the possibility of the divine in any given moment.

2. Open your hearts.

Deep inside ourselves, we are all one and the same.

3. Show me your search history and I’ll show you who you are.

4. It is the nature of trauma that, when left untreated, it deepens over time.

5. The only graceful thing to do is recognize and embrace what is actually happening, rather than fight against it.

6. Music inspires me and puts me in the right mood, but to actually listen to it when I write - I find it gets in the way.

7. I don’t want to lean back into the past, or forward into the future.

I don’t want to wish the present moment away.

8. I was doing a lot of yoga and learning to meditate, and I found that extremely helpful, and still do and hopefully always will.

9. The people who are with us by either happenstance or design during life-altering events become woven into the fabric of those events.

10. If you are a writer or any kind of artist, if you change something as fundamental as where you live – the way you live – then I think you change the very instrument that is trying to make the art.

11. “Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror,” Rilke wrote.

12. From Carl Jung: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.”

13. "The constitutional disease from which I suffer,” wrote the philosopher and psychologist William James, “is what the Germans call Zerrissenheit, or torn-to-pieces-hood. The days are broken in pure zig-zag and interruption.”
