※ John Robert Wooden (1910~2010, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wooden ) ; an American basketball coach and player. 

Nicknamed "the Wizard of Westwood", he won ten National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national championships in a 12-year period as head coach for the UCLA Bruins, including a record seven in a row.

Wooden was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player (1960) and as a coach (1973), the first person to be enshrined in both categories.

Wooden's 29-year coaching career and overwhelming critical acclaim for his leadership have created a legacy not only in sports but also extending to business, personal success, and organizational leadership.

1. To give up doing evil is more important than making merit.

악업 짓기를 그만두는 것이 공덕을 쌓는 것보다 더 중요하다.

2. The serene and peaceful mind is the true epitome of human achievement.

고요하고 평화로운 마음은 인간 성취의 진정한 전형(全形, 본보기)이다.

3. Anything which is troubling you, anything which is irritating you, that is your teacher.

당신을 괴롭히거나 짜증나게 하는 것은 모두 당신의 선생이다.

4. If you want a chicken to be a duck, and a duck to be a chicken, you will suffer.
