바다 건너 실려온 음향들 가운데

내게 배달된 것은 없어라~

나뭇가지 흔드는 옛날 박자 같은 것

가사 잊은 멜로디 같은 것

바람은 손처럼 하늘거리며 지나간다

손가락으로 하늘을 칠하고

입장한 관객은 신(神)과 나,

흔들리는 음률에 깃털 장식이 바르르 떨리네~

바람은 연주단 주위를 빙빙 돌고

문을 똑똑 두드리고

오케스트라에 참석하는 새들이

머리 위를 나를 제

나는 여름 나무의 가지사이로

그분에게 은혜를 구하노라

이런 떠돌이 신세라면~

그분은 마른 노래를 듣지 않으시고

나무의 장엄한 곡을 틀어주시리

소리의 포장마차가

사막에서 공중에서

질서를 흐트러뜨리기라도 한다면
