With this mindset, I hope to properly express Gianluigi Buffon's heart.
1. In this job, you accept criticism and give answers on the field.
축구계에서는 비판을 받아들이고 경기장에서 답을 찾아야 한다.
2. I believe in doing the right things; that is my character and personality.
나는 옳은 일을 행하는 것을 중요하게 생각한다.
이게 바로 나의 성품이자 성격이다.
3. In football, you win as a group, you lose as a group; you divide the credit and the blame.
축구에서는 팀으로서 함께 이기고 함께 진다.
공(功)도, 과(過)도 모두 함께 나누는 것이다.

12. When you're on the field, you've got to deliver.
It doesn't matter what you potentially could deliver or what you might be able to deliver in future - you've got to deliver it there and then.

잠재적으로 어떤 성과를 낼 수 있는지, 혹은 미래에 무엇을 해낼 수 있는지는 중요하지 않다.

13. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but I think that's normal for someone who wants to grow and develop.
You will have to overcome plenty of obstacles, and it is normal that you should stumble sometimes.
살아오면서 수많은 실수를 저질렀지만, 성장하고 발전하려는 사람에게는 지극히 자연스러운 일이라고 생각한다.
수많은 장애물을 넘어야 할 것이고, 때로는 휘청거리는 것도 당연한 일이다.
14. More than anything else, I'm a very calm person in the sense that I don't worry about the future and what my life could be.
I just have to face it, and I'll face it with enthusiasm as well as the desire and curiosity to test myself.

I always liked being at the heart of the action, trying to experience different situations and different challenges.
One year, I decided to try playing in goal - after that, I was going to go back to playing outfield.
우리 아버지께서 포지션을 바꿔 골키퍼를 한번 해보라고 권유하셨다.
나는 항상 경기의 중심에서 다양한 상황과 도전을 경험하는 것을 좋아했다.
어느 해, 딱 한 번만 골키퍼를 해보기로 마음먹었고, 그 후엔 다시 필드 플레이어로 돌아갈 생각이었다.
16. The role of a goalkeeper is difficult to judge, above all if you haven't been a goalkeeper.
It's like me giving an opinion on someone's job without having had any experience in their sector.
You start to realise how many stupid things are said and written about goalkeepers.
골키퍼의 역할은 판단하기 어렵다. 특히 골키퍼 경험이 없는 사람이라면 더욱 그렇다.
마치 내가 어느 분야에 대한 경험도 없이 누군가의 직업에 대해 의견을 내는 것과도 같다.
골키퍼에 대해 얼마나 많은 어리석은 말과 글들이 오가는지 기가 찰 정도이다.
17. Often, there are fallacies when a journalist or a fan and sometimes even a coach who has never been a goalkeeper sees a cross in the six-yard box and says he should come out.
기자나 팬, 심지어 골키퍼 경험이 없는 감독조차 6야드 박스 안으로 오는 크로스를 보고 골키퍼가 무조건 골대에서 나와야 한다고 말하곤 하는데, 이로 인해 종종 오류를 범하게 된다.
