유태인인 그녀는 스승 Martin Heidegger( https://cw2588.blogspot.com/2024/01/martin-heidegger-sayings-quotes.html )의 연인이었으며, 1933년 Gestapo에게 체포되어 일주일 동안 감금되었다가 풀려난 다음 프랑스로 망명했다.

1933년 Martin Heidegger는 프라이부르크 대학교 총장에 취임하는 한편 나치당에 가입했으며, 한때의 연인이자 사제(師弟)였던 두 사람의 길이 갈라지게 되었다.
