※ Benazir Bhutto (1953~2007, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benazir_Bhutto ) ; a Pakistani stateswoman who twice served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996 (파키스탄의 정치인이며, 1988~1990년까지, 1993년~1996년까지 두 차례에 걸쳐 파키스탄 총리를 역임했다).
She was the first woman elected to head a democratic government in a Muslim-majority country.
Ideologically a liberal and a secularist, she chaired the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) from 1982 until her assassination in 2007.
이념적으로 자유주의자이자 세속주의자였던 그녀는 1982년부터 2007년 암살당할 때까지 Pakistan People's Party (PPP) 이끌었다.}
She returned in 1986 and—influenced by Thatcherite economics—transformed the PPP's platform from a socialist to a liberal one, before leading it to victory in the 1988 election, becoming Pakistan's first and only female prime minister.
이후 1988년 선거에서 당의 승리를 이끌며 파키스탄 역사상 최초이자 유일한 여성 총리가 되었다.}
Following the United States–brokered negotiations with Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf, she returned to Pakistan in 2007 to run in the 2008 elections.
Her platform emphasised civilian oversight of the military and opposition to growing Islamist violence.
After a political rally in Rawalpindi, she was assassinated.
Posthumously, she came to be regarded as an icon for women's rights due to her political success in a male-dominated society

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Benazir Bhutto's heart.
1. Purusing peace means rising above one's own wants, needs, and emotions.
2. To make peace, one must be an uncompromising leader.
To make peace, one must also embody compromise.
3. Political dictatorship and social hopelessness create the desperation that fuels religious extremism.
4. You can imprison a man, but not an idea.
You can exile a man, but not an idea.
You can kill a man, but not an idea.
5. I dream... of a world where we can commit our social resources to the development of human life and not to its destruction.
6. While living in America when I attended Harvard in the early 1970s, I saw for myself the awesome, almost miraculous, power of a people to change policy through democratic means.
7. The Internet is the great equalizer.
The technology which emanated from the Silicon Valley of California has more potential to ameliorate social inequality than any development in the history of the world, including the industrial revolution.
8. Being nice should never be perceived as being weak.
It's not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of courtesy, manners, grace, a woman's ability to make everyone... feel at home, and it should never be construed as weakness.
9. Clearly it's not easy for woman in modern society, no matter where we live.
We still have to go extra mile to prove that we are equal to men.
We have to work longer hours and make more sacrifices.
And we must emotionally protect ourselves from unfair, often vicious attacks made on us.
10. Ultimately, leadership is about the strength of one's convictions, the ability to endure the punches, and the energy to promote an idea.
And I have found that those who do achieve peace never acquiesce to obstacles, especially those constructed of bigotry, intolerance, and inflexible tradition.
11. Democracy needs support and the best support for democracy comes from other democracies.
Democratic nations should come together in an association designed to help each other and promote what is a universal value – democracy.
12. Pakistans future viability, stability and security lie in empowering its people and building political institutions.
My goal is to prove that the fundamental battle for the hearts and minds of a generation can be accomplished only under democracy.
13. Pakistan is heir to an intellectual tradition of which the illustrious exponent was the poet and philosopher Muhammad Iqbal.
He saw the future course for Islamic societies in a synthesis between adherence to the faith and adjustment to the modern age.
14. In distinguishing between Islamic teachings and social taboos, we must remember that Islam forbids injustice; Injustice against people, against nations, against women.
It shuns race, color, and gender as a basis of distinction amongst fellowmen.
It enshrines piety as the sole criteria for judging humankind.
