※ Aaron Copland (1900~1990, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Copland ) ; an American composer, critic, writer, teacher, pianist, and conductor of his own and other American music.

The open, slowly changing harmonies in much of his music are typical of what many consider the sound of American music, evoking the vast American landscape and pioneer spirit.

In addition to his ballets and orchestral works, he produced music in many other genres, including chamber music, vocal works, opera, and film scores.

He studied three years with Nadia Boulanger( https://cw2588.blogspot.com/2022/10/nadia-boulanger-music-sayings-quotes.htm ), whose eclectic approach to music inspired his own broad taste.

From the 1960s onward, Copland's activities turned more from composing to conducting.

What did people truly want to say to the world?

I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.

With this mindset, I hope to properly express Aaron Copland's heart.

1. A melody is not merely something you can hum.
The melody is generally what the piece is all about.
멜로디는 단순히 흥얼거릴 수 있는 것이 아니라,
일반적으로 작품의 모든 것이다.

2. Composers tend to assume that everyone loves music.
Surprisingly enough, everyone doesn't.
작곡가는 모든 사람이 음악을 사랑한다고 가정하는 경향이 있다.
놀랍게도 모두가 음악을 사랑하는 것은 아니다.

3. The greatest moments of the human spirit may be deduced from the greatest moments in music.
