※ Sai Baba of Shirdi (Shirdi Sai Baba, 1838?~1918, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sai_Baba_of_Shirdi ) ; an Indian spiritual guru considered to be a saint, and revered by both Hindu and Muslim devotees during and after his lifetime.
His teachings emphasised a moral code of love, forgiveness, helping others, charity, contentment, inner peace, and devotion to God and Guru.
His teachings combined elements of Hinduism and Islam: he gave the Hindu name Dwarakamayi to the mosque in which he lived, practised both Hindu and Muslim rituals, and taught using words and figures that drew from both traditions.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Sai Baba of Shirdi's heart.
1. Be contented and cheerful with what comes.
자기에게 오는 모든 것에 만족하고 기뻐하라.
2. If anyone offends you do not return tit for tat.
누군가가 기분을 상하게 하더라도 그에 상응하는 댓가를 돌려주지 마라.
3. Gain and loss, birth and death are in the hands of God.
얻고 잃는 것, 태어남과 죽음은 모두 신의 손에 달려 있다.
4. Get on with your worldly activities cheerfully, but do not forget God.
즐겁게 세상 활동을 하되 신을 잊지는 마라.
5. What God gives is never exhausted, what man gives never lasts.
신이 우리에게 주시는 것은 결코 고갈되지 않고, 사람이 주는 것은 영원하지 않다.
6. Do not bark at people and don’t be aggressive, but put up with others’ complaints.
남에게 퉁명스럽게 대하지 말고, 공격적으로 대하지 말며, 남의 불평을 참아라.
7. Do not be obsessed by the importance of wealth.
See the divine in the human being.
재물에 너무 집착하지 마라.
사람 안에 있는 신성(神性)을 보아라.
8. If we see all actions as God’s doing, we will be unattached and free from karmic bondage.
모든 행위를 신이 하시는 일이라고 생각한다면, 우리는 집착이 없고 업의 속박에서 벗어날 수 있을 것이다.
9. Other people’s acts will affect just them.
It is only your own deeds that will affect you.
다른 사람들의 액션은 그들에게만 영향을 미친다.
자신에게 영향을 미치는 것은 오직 자기 자신의 액션뿐이다.
10. Death and life are the manifestations of God’s activity.
You cannot separate the two. God permeates all.
죽음과 삶은 신의 활동의 현현(顯現)이다.
둘은 분리될 수 없으며, 신은 모든 것을 관통한다.
11. Do not kick against the pricks of life.
Whatever creature comes to you, human or otherwise, treat it with consideration.
인생의 고통스런 상처들을 발로 뻥 차버리지 마라.
사람이든 아니든, 어떤 존재가 내게 다가오면 신중하게 다루어라.
12. Whatever you do, wherever you may be, always bear this in mind : I(God) am always aware of everything you do.
우리가 무엇을 하든지, 어디에 있든지 항상 이것을 명심하라.
신은 우리가 하는 모든 일을 항상 알고 계신다.
13. Do not try to get mantra or upadesh from anybody.
Make me the sole object of your thoughts and actions ; and you will, no doubt, attain paramartha(the spiritual goal of life).
다른 사람에게서 만다라나 영적(靈的) 지도(指導)를 얻으려고 하지 마라.
신을 자신의 생각과 행동의 유일한 대상으로 삼아라.
그러면 틀림없이 인생의 영적 목표에 도달하게 될 것이다.
14. My(God) business is to give blessings.
I get angry with none.
Will a mother get angry with her children?
Will the ocean send back the waters to the several rivers?
I will take you to the end.
Surrender completely to God.
나(신)의 일은 축복을 주는 것이다.
나는 아무에게도 화를 내지 않는다.
엄마가 아이들에게 화를 낼까요?
바다가 물을 여러 강으로 되돌려 보낼까요?
신은 우리를 끝까지 데려갈 것이다.
신께 완전히 복종하세요.
15. If any men or creatures come to you, do not discourteously drive them away, but receive them well and treat them, with due respect.
God will be certainly pleased, if you give water to the thirsty, bread to the hungry, clothes to the naked, and your verandah(courtyard) to strangers for sitting and resting.
사람이나 피조물이 너희에게 오거든 무례히 쫓아내지 말고 예의를 갖추어 잘 대해줘라.
목마른 자에게 물을, 굶주린 자에게 떡을, 헐벗은 자에게 의복을, 나그네에게 앉아 쉴만한 베란다(마당)를 내주면 신이 반드시 기뻐하실 것이다.
