※ Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Alban, PC (Lord Verulam, 1561~1626, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Bacon ) ; an English philosopher and statesman who served as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England under King James I.
He argued for the possibility of scientific knowledge based only upon inductive reasoning and careful observation of events in nature.
Bacon was a patron of libraries and developed a system for cataloguing books under three categories – history, poetry, and philosophy – which could further be divided into specific subjects and subheadings.
He was the first recipient of the Queen's counsel designation, conferred in 1597 when Elizabeth I reserved him as her legal advisor.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Francis Bacon's heart.
1. Money makes a good servant, but a bad master.
2. Money is like muck, not good except it be spread.
3. Book must follow sciences, and not sciences books.
4. No man’s fortune can be an end worthy of his being.
5. knowledge is power.
Knowledge and human power are synonymous.
6. Prosperity is the blessing of the Old Testament ; adversity is the blessing of the New.
7. If a man be gracious and courteous to strangers, it shows he is a citizen of the world.
8. Philosophy when superficially studied, excites doubt, when thoroughly explored, it dispels it.
9. Some books are to be tasted ; others to be swallowed ; and some few to be chewed and digested.
10. Read not to contradict and confute ; nor to believe and take for granted ; nor to find talk and discourse ; but to weigh and consider.
11. Old wood best to burn, old wine to dink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.
12. If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubt ; but if he will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties.
