1. I believe that the very process of looking can make a thing beautiful.

보는(관찰하는) 과정이 사물(일, 상황)을 아름답게 만들 수 있다고 나는 믿는다.

But there can be no such things as a neutral observer.

For something to be seen, it must be looked at by somebody, and any true and real depiction must be an account of the experience of that looking.

Just draw the landscape.

I felt doing it with a bit of burnt wood was also good because I was drawing burnt wood with a piece of wood.

I wanted to do black and white. After using color, I thought black and white would be good.

You can have color in black and white.

There is color in them, actually.

모든 것은 자연에서 온다.

자연에서 새로운 아이디어를 얻는다.

그냥 풍경을 그려라.

나는 나무 조각으로 불에 탄 나무를 그리는데, 살짝 불에 태운 나무를 사용하여 풍경을 그리는 것이 좋았다.

나는 흑백으로 그리고 싶었다. 칼라 색상을 사용한 후에는 흑백이 더 좋을 것 같다는 생각을 했다.

흑백 속에서 칼라 색상을 음미할 수가 있다.

실제로 자연 안에 다양한 색깔이 있다.
