When your heart breaks, it’s a good thing - the breaking of the heart is what opens it up to the light of Allah.

The dunya is designed to break your heart, to crush it.

하나님은 마음이 상한 사람과 함께 하신다.

당신의 마음이 무너지면 그것은 좋은 일이다.

마음이 무너지는 것은 그것을 하나님의 빛으로 여는 것이다.

세상은 당신의 마음을 부수기 위해 디자인되었다.

12. Hypocrisy is wretched because the hypocrite says with his tongue what is not in his heart.

He wrongs his tongue and oppresses his heart.

But if the heart is sound, the condition of the tongue follows suit.

We are commanded to be upright in speech, which is a gauge of the heart's state.

위선자는 마음에 없는 것을 혀로 말하기 때문에 위선은 비참하다.

위선자는 혀를 잘못 놀리고 마음을 억압한다.

그러나 마음이 건전하면 혀의 상태도 건전해진다.

우리는 마음의 상태를 가늠하는 척도인 말을 똑바로 하라는 명령을 받는다.

13. Everything that we do has a spiritual essence.

There is a spiritual dimension in everything.

All of life has meaning and everything that you do in life is in preparation for your great meeting.

This great meeting is your meeting with your Lord, which is absolutely inevitable.

우리가 하는 모든 일에는 영적(靈的)인 본질이 있다.

모든 것에는 영적 차원이 있다.

모든 인생에는 의미가 있고, 당신이 인생에서 하는 모든 것은 위대한 만남을 준비하는 것이다.

14. What comes to a person in his or her life, however difficult it may be, perhaps will help a person move closer to God.

The response to tribulation is abr, which is patience, perseverance, steadfastness, and resolve.

Allāh loves the patient ; part of the reason the tribulation comes is to draw the quality of patience out of them - He loves this quality.

인생에서 사람에게 닥치는 일이 아무리 어려워도 아마도 사람이 하나님께 더 가까이 가는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

환란(患亂)에 대한 응답은 인내, 불굴의 의지, 확고부동, 결단이다.

하나님은 환란을 만난 사람을 사랑하신다.

환란이 오는 이유 중 하나는, 사람들로부터 인내의 특성을 끌어내기 위함이다.

하나님은 이 특성을 사랑하신다.

15. Where is your heart?

Is your heart with God?

Is it with your own ego or your lust?

Is it with your greed, your pride, envy, or your resentment?

This is a time where you can go into yourself and ask : Where is my heart?

Ramadan is a time to give the heart back to the One who possesses the hearts.

당신의 마음은 어디에 있는가?

당신의 마음은 하나님한테 있는가?

그 마음은 당신 자신의 에고인가? 아니면 욕망인가?

그 마음은 당신의 탐욕, 교만, 시기(猜忌), 원한 때문인가?

당신이 자신의 내부로 들어가서 물어볼 수 있는 시간이다.

내 마음은 어디에 있는가?

라마단은 마음을 소유한 분들께 마음을 돌려드리는 시간이다.

16. Language is the crowning achievement of human beings, and that is something Muslims have always known and revered.

We are a literate people whose miracle is a Book from an unlettered man, peace and blessings be upon him, who was the most articulate and eloquent human being who ever lived.

We honor our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in honoring language that he loved so much and used so well.

언어는 인간의 가장 큰 업적이며, 이슬람교도들이 항상 그 언어를 존경해왔다.

우리는 글을 읽을 줄 아는 사람들이다.

기적은 글자가 없는 사람(마호메트 Muhammad 무함마드)의 책이며, 평화와 축복이 그분께 있다.

사람들은 당신에게 '당신은 변했다' 라고 말한다.

글쎄, 나는 하나님을 위해서 당신이 변했기를 바란다.

왜냐하면 나는 평생 똑같은 사람이 되고 싶지는 않기 때문이다.

나는 성장하고 싶고 넓어지고 싶다.

나는 변하고 싶다.

살아 움직이는 것은 변하고, 살아 있지 않은 것(죽은 것)은 변하지 않는다.

심장은 살아있어야 하고 변화해야 하며, 움직여야 하고 성장해야 하며, 지식은 확장되어야 한다.
