14. Above all, don't lie to yourself.

The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others.

And having no respect he ceases to love.

무엇보다도 자신에게 거짓말을 하지 마라.

자신에게 거짓말을 하고 자신의 거짓말에 귀를 기울이는 사람은, 자신의 내부나 주변의 진실을 분별할 수 없는 지경에 이르러 자신과 타인에 대한 모든 존경심을 잃게 된다.

존경심이 없어지면 사랑도 멈추게 된다.
