※ Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier (1743~1794, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoine_Lavoisier ) ; a French nobleman and chemist who was central to the 18th-century chemical revolution and who had a large influence on both the history of chemistry and the history of biology.
It is generally accepted that Lavoisier's great accomplishments in chemistry stem largely from his changing the science from a qualitative to a quantitative one.
Lavoisier is noted for his discovery of the role oxygen plays in combustion, opposing the prior phlogiston theory of combustion.
Lavoisier helped construct the metric system, wrote the first extensive list of elements, in which he predicted the existence of silicon, and helped to reform chemical nomenclature (1787).
His wife and laboratory assistant, Marie-Anne Paulze Lavoisier, became a renowned chemist in her own right, and worked with him to develop the metric system of measurements.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Antoine Lavoisier's heart.
1. Nothing is born, nothing dies.
Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
아무것도 태어나지 않고, 아무것도 죽지 않는다.
잃어버린 것도 없고, 창조된 것도 없으며, 모든 것은 변화된다.
2. I consider nature a vast chemical laboratory in which all kinds of composition and decomposition are formed.
자연은 모든 종류의 물질의 합성과 분해가 이루어지는 거대한 화학 실험실이라고 나는 생각한다.
3. In performing experiments, they be simplified as much as possible, and that every circumstance that could complicate the results should be completely removed.
실험을 수행할 때는, 가능한 한 단순화하며 결과를 복잡하게 할 수 있는 모든 상황을 완전히 제거해야 한다.
4. Vegetation is the basic instrument the creator uses to set all of nature in motion.
초목은 창조주가 모든 자연을 움직이게 하는데 사용하는 기본 도구이다.
5. Vegetables are organized bodies that grow on the dry areas of the globe and within its waters.
Their function is to combine immediately the four elements and to serve as food for animals.
식물은 지구의 땅 위와 물 속에서 생활하는 조직체이다.
식물의 기능은 지수화풍 네 가지 요소를 빠르게 섞어서 결합하고 동물의 먹이 역할을 하는 것이다.
6. We think only through the medium of words.
Languages are true analytical methods.
우리는 말이라는 매체를 통해서만 생각한다.
언어는 진정한 분석 방법이다.
7. It is impossible to disassociate language from science.
To call forth a concept, a word is needed.
언어와 과학을 분리하는 것은 불가능하다.
개념을 표현하려면 단어가 필요하다.
8. Every branch of physical science must consist of three things ;
the series of facts which are the objects of the science, the ideas which represent these facts, and the words by which these ideas are expressed.
물리과학의 모든 분야는 세 가지로 구성되어야 한다.
과학의 대상인 일련의 사실(事實), 이러한 사실들을 나타내는 아이디어, 그리고 이러한 아이디어들을 표현할 수 있는 단어들.
9. We must trust to nothing but facts.
These are presented to us by Nature, and cannot deceive.
We ought, in every instance, to submit our reasoning to the test of experiment,
and never to search for truth but by the natural road of experiment and observation.
우리는 사실(事實)에만 의존해야 한다.
사실이란 자연이 준 것이라서 속이지 않기 때문이다.
우리는 어떠한 경우에도 실험결과에 따라 판단해야 한다.
(억지로) 진리를 찾으려고 하지 말고, 실험과 관찰이 주는 자연적인 길을 따라야 한다.
10. In all the operations of art and nature, nothing is created ;
an equal quantity of matter exists both before and after the experiment ;
the quality and quantity of the elements remain precisely the same ;
and nothing takes place beyond changes and modifications in the combination of these elements.
예술과 자연의 모든 작용에서, 아무것도 창조되지 않는다.
동일한 양의 물질이 실험 전과 실험 후에 모두 존재한다.
원소들의 질과 양은 정확하게 동일하게 유지된다.
그리고 이러한 원소들의 조합에서 변화와 수정을 넘어서는 어떠한 일도 일어나지 않는다.
