What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express G.R.R.M.'s heart.

1. War makes monsters of us all.

2. He who hurries through life hurries to his grave.

3. A lion does not concern himself with the opinion of sheep.

4. A man must know how to look before he can hope to see.

5. Most men would rather deny a hard truth than face it.

6. The strongest trees are rooted in the dark places of the earth.

7. The things we love destroy us every time, lad. Remember that.

8. Some old wounds never truly heal, and bleed again at the slightest word.

9. A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.

10. People often claim to hunger for truth, but seldom like the taste when it's served up.

11. I prefer my history dead.

Dead history is writ in ink, the living sort in blood.

12. Every man should lose a battle in his youth, so he does not lose a war when he is old.

13. Summer friends will melt away like summer snows, but winter friends are friends forever.

14. A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies.

The man who never reads lives only one.

15. We are only human, and the gods have fashioned us for love.

That is our great glory, and our great tragedy.

16. Darkness will be your cloak, your shield, your mother’s milk.

Darkness will make you strong.

17. Men live their lives trapped in an eternal present, between the mists of memory and the sea of shadow that is all we know of the days to come.

18. If you would take a man’s life, you owe it to him to look into his eyes and hear his final words.

And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die.

19. One of the big breakthroughs, I think for me, was reading Robert A. Heinlein( https://cw2588.blogspot.com/2022/11/robert-heinlein-sayings-quotes.html?m=0 )'s four rules of writing, one of which was, 'You must finish what you write.'

I never had any problem with the first one, 'You must write' - I was writing since I was a kid. But I never finished what writing.

20. When I'm writing from a character's viewpoint, in essence I become that character; I share their thoughts, I see the world through their eyes and try to feel everything they feel.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Lynn Flewelling's heart.

1. Evil is always with us. The balance is all.

2. Take what the Lightbearer sends and be thankful.

3. I hate being told what to do! Especially by myself!

4. Fowl never tastes as savory when you’re hungry for venison.

5. It’s one thing to accept one’s destiny. It’s quite another to live it.

6. There was often truth to be found in wine that didn’t come out otherwise.

7. All kindness goes out the window when you put a metal collar around the neck of another person.

8. At court you must say less than you think and only speak as much of the truth as will do you good.

9. Then again, I don’t suppose the very poor care much about the doings of the rich, either.

The gulf is too wide.

Not many have been on both sides of it, as we have.

10. You always have a choice.

Don’t ever imagine you don’t.

Whatever you do, it’s a decision and you have to accept responsibility for it.

That’s when honor becomes more than empty words.

11. A writer can't just be well-educated or good at research; to build a living, breathing world with interesting characters, you have to write from the gut.

I'm not saying you have to live your life like a fantasy adventure.

The trick is the ability to synthesize your own everyday experiences into your fiction.

Infuse your characters with believable emotions and motivations.

Infuse your world with rich sensory detail.

For that you have to be in touch with your own existence and your own soul, the dark and the light of it.

What did people truly want to say to the world?
I want to convey the true heart of the person published here.
With this mindset, I hope to properly express Elin Hilderbrand's heart.

1. Listen. Observe. Absorb.

2. When you’re in love, every day is like a present you get to open.

3. In even the bleakest situations, there’s usually some good to be salvaged.

4. No one knows what goes on in a marriage except for the two people living in it.

5. Sadness comes long after all of the other, more difficult and destructive emotions have passed.

6. One of the best feelings in the world was finding something you were sure you’d lost forever.

7. Being a mother was the best of all human experiences, and also the most excruciating.

8. First you love the music that your parents love – and then, later in life, you love the songs your kids love.

9. The worst thing about being young is not being able to appreciate that you’re young because you aren’t old enough to know any better.

10. Nobody knows where it comes from, and nobody knows where it goes.’

Love doesn’t make sense most of the time and that’s what’s so wonderful about it.

11. Sometimes you regret the things you do, but they’re over and done.

Regretting the things you didn’t do is tougher because they’re still out there, haunting you with the what ifs.

12. It’s not a house to us. It’s a home.

And it’s not a home, it’s s way of life.

Our summertime happens here.

This house is part of our past, it’s our present, it’ll be our future.

It’s who we are.
