To hold on to something – or someone – beyond its time is to set your selfish desires against the Force.
That is a path of misery, Anakin; the Jedi do not walk it.
모든 것은 죽는다.
시간이 지나면 별들도 타버리게 된다.
이것이 바로 제다이(Jedi는 《스타 워즈》에 나오는 은하계의 평화를 지키는 가상의 조직)가 애착을 갖지 않는 이유이다.
모든 것은 지나가기 때문이다.
시간이 지나도 무언가 또는 누군가를 애착심으로 붙잡고 있는 것은 자기가 소속된 조직에 반대하는 이기적인 욕망을 설정하는 것이다.
그건 비참한 길이다.
